Mālama Wao Akua is a collaboration between East Maui Watershed Partnership and Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center. The goal of this event is to inspire the exploration of Maui’s native species, and to deepen the understanding of the importance of native plants, animals, and landscapes through art. Exhibition Dates: September 11th – November 6th
Online Registration Open : August 18th – September 1st
Priority Registration Deadline: Tuesday, August 25th at Midnight
Artwork Receiving Day: Tuesday, September 1st/ 9am-6pm @ Hui Noʻeau
Selection Notification (via website): Thursday, September 3rd by 6pm
Pick-up of Non-selected Work: Friday, September 4th / 9am – 4pm
Opening Ceremony: Friday, September 11th / 5pm – 7pm
Pick-up of Selected Work: Saturday, November 7th / 9am – 4pm
