The jurors for the 22nd annual Mālama Wao Akua exhibition bring together a unique blend of expertise in environmental conservation and the arts. Together, they serve to celebrate and give voice to the native species of Maui Nui.

This presentation, held by East Maui Watershed Partnership, will inform artists, professional and amateur, on what “Native to Maui Nui” means. It will explain what it means to enter this exhibit and provide ideas of how to research species acceptable for this exhibit. We are honored and excited to introduce Zach Pezzillo and Inger Tully as jurors for this year’s exhibition. With impressive backgrounds in conservation and art, each brings an expertise and perspective that’s rooted in mālama for Maui.
