Kula Community Watershed Alliance

Artists are invited to explore an active restoration landscape in Upper Kula, where native plants are returning to lands impacted by the 2023 Kula Fire. Walk through the Waiakoa watershed and witness a landscape in transition—charred tree trunks standing alongside emerging ʻōhiʻa, ʻaʻaliʻi, and other native species reclaiming their place on the hillside. Participants will also visit the KCWA Community Restoration Nursery at Pūlehunui Sanctuary, where thousands of native plants are being cultivated for future restoration efforts. This is a rare opportunity to experience a forest rising from the ashes and to engage creatively with a place in the process of healing and renewal.

Space is limited and RSVP is required.
