Maui Ocean Center – Guided Tour of Native Marine Species

Maui Ocean Center Logo

The Maui Ocean Center is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for artists to tour the Center with a naturalist and learn about native marine species. This tour will provide artists with inspiration and insights for their work, as well as a chance to learn about the important role that marine life plays in our ecosystem.

Join our team of professional marine naturalists on a journey through the Maui Ocean Center to inspire wonder and respect for Hawai‘i’s marine life. Over 25% of Hawai‘i’s marine life is found nowhere else on earth – many of these species can be found at our property! Find inspiration at this beautiful regional aquarium during your 1 hour dedicated tour starting before the aquarium is open to the public. Our ocean experts will highlight native & endemic species like the Hawaiian Cleaner Wrasse, Potter’s Angelfish, ‘Ulua Aukea and more.

Afterwards dive beneath the waves to enjoy Hawai’i’s Humpback Whales (not MWA eligible species) in an exclusive sphere theater experience.
